A four-year-old girl was thrown from a vehicle when it was hit by another car. Authorities believe the car accident was caused by street racing.

Authorities are searching for one of the cars they believe were involved in the racing. The driver sped away following the accident.

Two cars were racing down the highway when a third car with a child inside pulled out from a stop sign and crashed into one of the speeding cars, police said.

There was debris strewn across the road, including children’s toys. The little girl was transported to the hospital by helicopter along with her Mother. Luckily, their injuries don’t appear to be life threatening.

Police have arrested a man they believed to be involved in the racing. He was arrested for driving on a suspended license and faces potential felony charges for street racing. Police are still in search of the driver that took off.
